Kyuss Lives! Sydney Show - Photo Gallery

![]() From left, Ram (tour manager) watches Brant Bjork (drums), Nick Oliveri (bass) and Bruno Fevery check the set-list. "Are you fucking kidding me?" I yelled to no one in particular upon hearing Kyuss' live sound for the first time... I've been listening to this band from the Californian desert since I was a teenager and despite high expectations their mountainous rumble still exceeded them ten-fold. Sydney's Luna Park was at capacity when Tracks arrived and all ears were at the ready long before the first note was played. This reunion was a long time coming. When Bruno, Nick and Brant kicked things of with the instrumental track, 'Molten' the sound was sweater than honey flavoured beer poured by naked Victoria Secret models. Once joined onstage by singer John Garcia, the band, now known as Kyuss Lives!, proceeded to blow minds. They took the audience on a musical escapade that ventured along far away moonscapes, though psychedelic dreams and even along glacier like waterfalls back on earth. No lyrical wit can do this show justice. Enjoy the photos and, as the t-shirt says, "listen to Kyuss."
