Australian professional surfer Jay 'Bottle 'Thompson had an epiphany last year triggered by a short stint as an office jockey. "I tried the transition in to the office at Reef and managed athletes for a while,” explains the big man from Burleigh Heads. “But I discovered I am definitely an outdoors man." Basically, he hated it. 12 months down the track Bottle has returned to doing what he loves most – surfing and helping people. This week Bottle launched bottlesurf.com which he aims to use as a vehicle to invite people back stage to the incredible lifestyle professional surfers enjoy. When asked exactly what people can expect from the site he said, “You’re going to find out pretty quickly that it’s not just about gallivanting around the globe competing on the professional surfing circuit. I use my travels to experience and embrace culture from all corners of the earth. Hopefully I’m able to grab the stories and visions of the most beautiful people and places across the globe and bring them right into your home.”
