The latest episode of Board Stories from Epic TV tells the story of Rory Russell’s famous Pipeliner surfboard. Taken from a template of a 1969 Gerry Lopez model it was a design that paved the career for Russell leading to two Pipe Masters and shooting him to world wide fame as one of surfing’s greatest. Now in his 60s, Russell hasn’t lost any of his charisma and remains one of the most bubbly characters in the sport. This is a surfboard with a very important to tell, and no man in surfing tells a better story than Rory “The Dog” Russell.
