Italo Ferreira is a 20-year old goofy footer hailing from Baia Formoso, Brazil. His hometown boasts a right-hander that shares some similarities to the SE Queensland points, seen here in ‘Moments’. It’ll be interesting to watch him tackle the first event of the WSL calender, the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rocks which you can bet will host a huge Brazilian crowd lining the shore. In the meantime acquaint yourself with his backhand and get used to pronouncing that name.
