The Wrestle At Trestles

Tune in tomorrow for The Wrestle At Trestles a grudge match of epic proportions!

It seems pro surfers love social media as much as we do. With a single Instagram post Jeremy Flores has transformed a regulation round two match up with Kelly Slater into a grudge match of epic proportions. Using his phone as the psychological weapon of choice Flores posted the following message, “I haven’t MADE many heats this year but tomorrow Will be different. Are you guys READY to see the best surfer to EVER draw breath go down in heat 2 at the spot he’s been absolutely dominating since i wasn’t even born yet !!!! I’m ready !!! #bringONthehataters #whatanupset.” It’s unclear whether Flores was being dead serious or a little tongue in cheek with the provocative post. Either way we couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a little fun with the recently suspended Frenchman, who has become infamous for his outbursts. Love him or hate him, Jeremy has done a great job of raising the stakes and making round two a whole lot more interesting. Bring on the wrestle at Trestles. Can’t wait to see Kelly or Jeremy get KO’d on the cobblestones.
